For over three decades I have dedicated myself to helping my students reach their goals and achieve their dreams. I consider it a privilege to play a part in each of their lives and feel great pride in all of their accomplishments. I also have goals that I have set for myself and dreams that I have yet to achieve; however, I am unable to meet them on my own. If you believe one of the best feelings in the world is to help someone reach their goals and achieve their dreams, then I would like your help. Please consider becoming a sponsor and join "Team Brentwood".

No rider can obtain success without a superb team of supporters: owners, sponsors, trainers, veterinarians, farriers, grooms and friends. I have been extremely blessed to have always had my parents support, but as the competition and training levels increase, so do the costs. It is a huge financial burden to realize your dreams in this sport. I am humbled to say that I don't have the resources to make my dreams a reality. Your sponsorship will help me defray the overwhelming challenges and expenses.

The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short, but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark.

I have set my aim high, and I need your help to not fall short.

Why become a Sponsor?

Every rider's hope is to get a horse to the top level. Each year the dressage world seems to become more competitive. The difference between standing on the medal podium or not being there is having generous people who would like to be a part of the experience and get behind successful riders. Dressage deserves to have high exposure to spectators, advertisers, and even television, because it is a wonderful sport. It is a sport that improves every horse and rider. It is a sport that I believe in.

Sponsors are important to professionals in this sport. It is good for the riders to have extra support, and it is good for sponsors and manufacturers to have exposure. I'm grateful to the people and companies that believe in me and my horses.

Ownership

Even though they might not be the one in the saddle, I have found that owners have an intense connection with their horses. They love their horses, and they want their horses to be as good as they can be. Supporting a horse for someone else to ride is simply an extension of horse ownership - the connection with a horse, the joy of watching a horse progress and the exhilaration of attending competitions is very rewarding. The pride is in seeing the horse develop and excel. Sponsors are there for awards ceremonies, photo opportunities, and in the celebration for a job well done. They look at things in terms of being in it for the long term and the journey. They are essential to our sport.

Thank You

A rider does not become successful without the help of others. I am very thankful that the following people invested their time and financial support in my career. I celebrate the sponsors I have as well as the owners who I currently ride for or have ridden for in the past. You are an amazing group of people and are key to my success. Thank you for stepping forward.

To Mary Flood, Andrea Martens and Deana Vaughn, my instructors and mentors. You have helped me every step of the way. Thank you for challenging me, inspiring me and instilling in me the desire for excellence. You taught me not just what to do when riding, but how and why. You opened up my eyes to the greatness and beauty of dressage. You left an imprint on me that will last a lifetime. I take your words, your guidance, your knowledge and your passion and pass it on to my students every day.

To my dear friend Debbie Stafford who is an amazing photographer but an even better friend. Over the years you have captured my love of horses though photographs and videos and have created memories that will last a lifetime. Your work brings tears to my eyes and a smile to my face. Thank you for these gifts.

To my friends, students, and owners who come to the competitions to cheer and watch me compete. You make my day so much more enjoyable. I am blessed to have you in my life. You are "Team Brentwood"!

To my partner, Rick Rock, your enthusiasm and encouragement are unsurpassed. You came into my life not knowing a thing about horses or Dressage and have become my biggest fan. Your willingness to chip in whenever needed is amazing and always appreciated. You are the backbone of "Team Brentwood". Thank you for encouraging me to do what I love to do and follow my dream.

And last, but not least, to my parents, John and Janice Marriott. Your support has allowed me to follow my love of horses from a young age and to live my dream. Thank you for instilling in me the spirit of "fair play" and good sportsmanship, the desire to give back through volunteerism, the ability to push through adversity and for understanding my love of horses. You have given me the opportunity to reach for the stars, and no child could ask for more. I love you both!
